CTR and WCTR
CTR is the trade name for TANAKA's proprietary composite square
tape material. CTR can be directly or indirectly assembled in spring
materials (by automatic riveting, etc.), resulting in the establishment
of high-speed production, precious metal saving, low costs, etc.
Cladding thickness is as thin as 10 microns for the Au series, or
0.1mm for the Ag series. As a result, a structure of contacts has
been realized that was difficult with conventional rivet contacts.
Also, no brazing material is used in the connection. WTCC is the
trade name for those CTR's that are used for a double-head structure.
