Tanaka Standard Crossbar Contact Catalog (TXC)
TANAKA X-bar contacts (TXC) have been developed mainly
for weak current contacts on the basis of its proprietary technologies
and abundant experience. In many applications, from telephone exchange
switches to a variety of small relays, TXC contacts have maintained
their reputation with customers because of their high quality and
reliability.
TXC can certainly meet all customer requirements, e.g. small size,
light weight, high reliability, long life, low cost, etc.
TXC Features
Original Technology
Stable quality and high reliability have been accomplished by TANAKA's
proprietary technologies. In particular, these technologies were
extensively adopted to manufacture stable multi-layer contacts,
e.g. double-layer and triple-layer contacts, etc.
Quality
TXC's excellent quality can cope with any high-grade
requirement. Moreover, through thorough quality control, highly
stable long lengths of strip materials are also available.
Reliability
Customers have come to rely on TXC due to it's
excellent records in applications such as X-bar exchange relays,
various relays and switches, etc. over long periods of time.
Low cost
Precious metals used for contact surfaces can
be limited to only necessary parts with sufficient thickness. At
the same time, long strips are available. Consequently, TXC can
be employed in automatic manufacturing lines with a smaller labor
force, resulting in a drastic cost reduction. (Contact points are
also available after cutting strips.)
Free Choice of Shape
If a specific shape on the table is unsatisfactory,
a customer will be offered a shaped to meet their requirements.
Consolidation with Spring Material
TANAKA supplies long-size strips where TXC is
seam-welded onto spring material. It is an effective way to cut
facility costs in the after-processes.
